Waheeda Abdul Aziz Post-Matric Scholarship
This scholarship was established in honor of Waheeda Begum and Abdul Aziz, the parents of the late Vice-Chair, whose support inspired the Trust's vision to extend educational opportunities.
Focus: Quality post-matric education (after high school).
Target: Students from families with limited or unstable incomes, with a particular focus on those pursuing science and technical fields.
Accountability: Funds are disbursed directly to educational institutions to ensure they are used for tuition and academic purposes.
Impact Stories
Muhammad Izharul Haq: Received ₹80,000 over two consecutive years to support his technical education at Vijay Vithala Institute of Technology, Bangalore. His story is an example of how structured support enables students to pursue academic goals.
Amina Begum: A regular beneficiary who received a total of ₹49,000 across multiple years (₹10,000 in 2019, ₹4,000 in 2020, and ₹35,000 in 2021). Her dedication to the field of science reflects the program's success in nurturing academic talent.
Syed Shoaib: Received ₹7,000 in 2020 for his studies at BES College, Bangalore, with the funds going directly to the institution.
Taherunnisa and Abdul Sattar Pre-Matric Scholarships
Launched in August 2021, these scholarships encourage foundational education at the primary and secondary levels. They are named in honor of the chairman's mother, Taherunnisa, and father, Abdul Sattar.
Taherunnisa Pre-Matric Scholarship: Specifically for girls.
Abdul Sattar Pre-Matric Scholarship: Specifically for boys.
Eligibility Criteria: Open to students from low-income families.
With minimum of 80% marks in the previous academic year.
Family income not exceeding ₹2 lakhs annually.
Impact Stories
A student from Sira Town, Tumkur District, was awarded ₹15,000, extending the Trust's reach to students in underserved areas.
Shahnaz Begum Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2021 in memory of the late Vice-Chair, Mrs. Shahnaz Begum, this scholarship celebrates her legacy as an advocate for female empowerment and education.
Focus: Female education and empowerment.
Award: ₹5,000 annually to the highest-scoring female graduate in psychology from St. Philomena's College, Mysore, in partnership with the college.
Additional Support: Recipients gain access to career counseling and opportunities to network with academics worldwide.
